Aliens, Dragons, Monsters & Me - The extended edition DVD

ALIENS, DRAGONS, MONSTERS & ME

The Fantasy Film World of Ray Harryhausen - the extended edition

This in-depth look at the career and films of Ray Harryhausen was released in two prior versions in 1983 and 1991. The goal back then was to introduce the audience to the creative force behind some of the screen’s best loved fantasy films. Most of the interview bites were chosen to set up film clips. Now, this extended edition (that’s more than twice as long as either of the prior versions) is filled with many more professional and personal anecdotes and behind-the-scenes information that are insightful, sometimes amusing, and ultimately inspirational. Featuring interviews with:

Ray Harryhausen, Ray Bradbury, Producer Charles H. Schneer, Kerwin Mathews, Forrest J. Ackerman and Mrs. Willis O’Brien

Also included on this disc are 2 special features previously only available on the laserdisc release:  Another Look at the Models  -   Excerpts from “Guadalcanal”

Hosted by Gary Owens and Eric Boardman

Produced and written by Richard Jones
